Our achievement

Since its inception, BRDB has been making significant contribution in the development of agricultural resources to ensure sustainable rural development through the successful implementation of more than 114 projects / programs, employment generation in rural areas and poverty reduction of marginalized and marginalized people.
BRDB's main achievement is 94467 primary and central 669 co-operative organizations, under which total active co-ordinated women and male population is 2287894. Besides, 64744 informal groups (rural development party) constituted under poverty alleviation program, under whose service, 17.16 lakh unemployed poor women and men
Apart from this, 18,460 deep tube wells established between peasants co-operative societies at various times are one of the aspects of BRDB's success, through which revolution in agricultural production is achieved in this country.
Recognition / evaluation of BRDB activities:
BRDB has been playing a significant role in the overall development of rural poor including the lazy people of the rural areas, which has been widely acclaimed both internally and internationally,
(1) BIDS reviews the overall activities of BRDB and gives the following comments:
(A) BRDB's success in the field of education, health, nutrition, leadership and social mobility is commendable; Education rate is 64% in area and 52% in controlled area;
(B) the income of the persons engaged in non-agricultural activities has increased and the growth rate of small entrepreneurs is remarkable; 18% of the activities area and 9% in the controlled area;
(C) Social awareness; Empowerment of women is encouraging;
(D) the rate of ownership of BRDB's consumer-grade land is steadily rising. It is one of the indicators of income growth and wealth accumulation; 40% of the activities area and 27% in controlled areas;
(E) Poverty reduction has reduced due to the creation of food security opportunities; The rate of feeding rate is 80% in area and 69% in controlled areas;
(F) Increasing the rate of savings due to BRDB's working conditions has created opportunities for local resources; 95% of the activities area and 28% in controlled areas;
(F) BRDB's poverty reduction program has resulted in improved development in poverty alleviation; 24% of the activities area and 35.5% in controlled area. But 16% in the poverty line area and 26% in controlled areas;
As a result of BRDB's overall activity, the contribution of BRDB to GDP in the national level is approximately 1.93%;
